~ Fine Restaurant Quality Crab Cakes ~

Okay, we have our new FAVORITE GC entree.  This is a new item that I was anxious to try.  So instead of our usual Pizza/Beer last night, we had these delicious Crab Cakes! We just moved the Pizza/Beer to tonight for once.

Ingredients Needed:  1 lb crab meat, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, oil (I used olive oil).

Directions: Mix together the contents of package, crab meat...

 ..and mayonnaise.

Here is the final combined mixture.

Form into 8-9 round cakes. (I left it as is and just put a
lid on it). Refrigerate overnight. The next day is when I formed it into my cakes. Instead of 8-9 round ones, I made 5 large (like thick hamburger sized) cakes.  Hey, everything's bigger in Texas!

Heat oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. (I poured enough oil so that the entire bottom was covered and up about 1/8th inch of oil in the pan). Carefully add crab cakes, a few at a time.

Fry about 4 minutes or until golden brown, turning once.

Look how wonderful they turned out!

Here is hubby's plate and he already had one crab cake!

We had a rice dish (not GC this time) to go with it.  We both absolutely LOVE these and will make them as often as we can! Even though crab meat is expensive, think about it.  A nice crab cake dinner at a nice restaurant could easily be $20.99! This mix is only $4.00!  The cost of crab will vary depending on your area but still way less expensive than dinner out!

Next time I'm going to make GC fried rice to have with it!

Going...
GONE!

Try these today! You won't be disappointed!
